Example counter
A scaffold example tool page: a game-night tally counter, standing in for a real tool until real tools are built.
Clear all players and reset the round to 0?
Tally sheet
Round: 0
How it works
Add each player's name to the list, then use the round stepper to track the current round as you play. Everything you enter is saved in your browser, so it's still here if you reload the page. "Reset tally" clears the players and round back to zero, after you confirm.
This is a scaffold example entry for the tools content collection. It
exists to exercise the tool page template
(src/layouts/ToolLayout.astro) — the shared layout, SEO tags, JSON-LD
helpers (FAQPage, SoftwareApplication, BreadcrumbList), the shared
controls (NumberStepper, NameList, ResetConfirm), the localStorage
save/restore helper, and the print layout — not to document a real tool.
A real tool page here would be a printable score sheet, calculator or bracket generator.
Frequently asked questions
Does this save my progress?
Yes — your players and round count are saved in your browser's local storage, not on a server, so they're still here next time you open this page on the same device.
Can I print the tally?
Yes. Printing this page prints only the tally sheet (the round and player list), not the buttons and inputs used to update it.
