How it works
Type a score into any box as you play — ones through sixes in the upper section, and three of a kind through Yahtzee in the lower section. Leave a box empty if that category hasn't been scored yet, or enter 0 if you scratched it. The sheet adds up both section subtotals as you go: the upper section earns a 35-point bonus once its subtotal reaches 63 or more, and every Yahtzee you roll after your first one (enter how many in the "Extra Yahtzees" box) adds a 100-point bonus on top of its own score. Everything you type is saved in your browser, so it's still here if you reload the page. Use "Print score sheet" to print just the sheet — the buttons and inputs used to fill it in are left off the page.
Use this page to score a full game of Yahtzee without needing a paper pad, or print it out for a game away from a screen.
Scoring rules this sheet applies
Upper section — ones through sixes. Each box is normally the count of that number showing, times the number itself (for example, three fours scores 12). The upper section subtotal earns a flat 35-point bonus once it reaches 63 or more.
Lower section — three of a kind, four of a kind, full house (25), small straight (30), large straight (40), chance, and Yahtzee (50). Enter whatever your scorecard rules give you for each; a category you can’t score counts as a scratch (enter 0).
Yahtzee bonus — the rule this sheet implements: scoring a second (or further) Yahtzee after the Yahtzee box is already filled with 50 is worth an extra 100 points per additional Yahtzee, on top of whatever that roll also scores in its own lower-section category. Track how many extra Yahtzees you’ve rolled in the dedicated box, and the bonus is added to your lower-section total automatically.
The grand total is the upper total (subtotal plus bonus) plus the lower total (subtotal plus the Yahtzee bonus).
Frequently asked questions
How does the upper section bonus work?
The upper section is ones through sixes. Add up whatever you've entered in those six boxes — once that subtotal reaches 63 or more, this sheet adds a 35-point bonus automatically. You don't need every upper box filled in for the bonus to appear; it's calculated from whatever is entered so far.
What is the Yahtzee bonus, and how do I record it?
The first Yahtzee you roll is scored as 50 in the Yahtzee box. Standard rules award a 100-point bonus for every Yahtzee you roll after that. This sheet has an "Extra Yahtzees rolled" box for exactly that count — enter how many extra Yahtzees you've rolled, and it adds 100 points each to your lower-section total.
Does this save my progress?
Yes — everything you've entered is saved in your browser's local storage, not on a server, so your sheet is still here next time you open this page on the same device.
Can I print a blank sheet to fill in at the table?
Yes. Click "Print score sheet" at any point — with some boxes filled in, all of them filled in, or none at all — and only the score sheet itself prints, sized to fit a single Letter or A4 page.
